Hi all! IVP season is hereeee! The games dates that SP will be playing are on 6th (thur), 13th (thur), 17th (mon) and 20th (thur) Jan. We'll be playing either at 7 or 8pm at SP stadium's field. So supporters, hope to see you girls there! :D
IVP players, let's start this season right. I hope everyone of us can put in our hearts while playing the game. No matter who our opponents are, no matter what the outcomes of the scores, we don't want to leave the field with regrets because we did not play our 100%. Let's give our best and enjoy the process of playing touch at the same time. And, let's not let history repeat. You know what I'm referring too (:

Hellooooo!
Hope you girls have enjoyed the camp, esp the christmas part! The entertainments we provided on our own was really entertaining! Don't you think so? Haha. I bet all of us had a good laugh!
As well as the christmas exchange part! Like... Bird describing amanda to be "as ugly as the wrapping paper". Xin ying asking if her angel "is bimbotic". AND, Junice asking if her angel "is pretty" *Winks*. Haha!
So... as the year 3s should know, Amanda did this angels and mortals cycle thingy when we were year 1 (which was two years ago.) We decided to do this again! It was so hard trying to recall all the respective angels and mortals. Which explained why some of you received questions about it from us. Haha. So here you go, the angels and mortals cycle:

Hi girls, guess I should put a proper closure for our POL-ITE 10/11.
Hmmmmm, it's a season of joy, as well as regrets. I think it had given us many lessons to learn from. I hope you girls had done your own reflections. Grow up from our mistakes, pick up from where we fell. Other than the negative part, remember what good things we have made, what good runs we had ran, etc etc.
Set your individual goal for the rest of the year. If you have met the goals you had set or set for you, congratulations and keep it up, and set new goals. If you haven't, keep on trying. Try even harder. Don't give up as nothing is impossible. Ask for help when you need it. All of us will be more than happy to help one another. Don't forget that touch rugby is a team game.
For now, polite players, please rest your body well for this one/two weeks. Let your body recover from the fatigue and be well prepared to be back on the field again.
To the non-polite players, thank you all for the support you have given us during our games. Thank you for refilling our bottles. Thank you for cheering for us. Thank you (: We'll see you on the field soon! Let us train hard together. Jia you!
Go, angels. We will come back stronger.

Hello. It's me again! Hehe.
I hope you girls had a good rest this weekend. Please try to sleep early tonight! ( I hope I'll be able to! I was so excited for Monday's game that I rolled on my bed for TWO HOURS with all the moves replaying on my mind. :/ )

It's our first game tomorrow. Let's gear up and get ready to go all out!
For some of us, it's the first major competition. Whereas for some of us, it's the last POL-ITE. We want to play with all our hearts out and enjoy the games at the same time. Let's focus and meet all our objectives. We play as a team. Let's play with the angel spirit, play like how SP ANGELS had always been playing.

| DRAGON BOAT WOO! |

Today's dragon boating session was fantastic. We had joy, fun, laughter and most importantly, we have learnt a few things which are applicable to us. I'm going to highlight a few over here. My english isn't that fantastic and all but I guess it is still understandable. Heh. :D
1. You may be the last initially. But you shouldn't stop trying. Who knows, after 10 attempts, you are able to achieve what you want. And compared to those who got it at the 1st attempt, you have gotten much more than them. All the lessons and experience you learnt and gained are not for nothing.
2. Even though you're losing, you should not give up. Continue to close up the gap and not let it be an easy win for your opponent.
3. TEAM. Everyone plays a part in a team. No one is useless in a team. Everybody strives hard together, towards a common goal.
4. Encouragements. Continue encouraging one another to go on, even though it's tough.
5. In a team, we don't look at individuals. You can be good but what's the point of having just one person in a team to be good? We work as a team. We tell our teammates what they are doing right or wrong and correct them to be better. That is how a team works.
There're probably more but that is all that I can recall for now.
Let's continue to move on together (: Let's go angels!

First game for IVP against NYP was not too bad.
At least i could see everyone's effort!

Angels,
Pol-ite team 09/10:
Clare Chew, Syahidah, Nana, Bee Ping, Joan, Yici, Szeyee, Sheralin, Mary-anne, Diann, Amanda, Clarissa, Tiffany and Yiting
to the 13 of you, i'm really very proud of you girls. We fought so hard at games (although sometimes we weren't focus enough), and tried so hard to clinch championship this year. We went through a season full of sweat, injuries, pains, deep heat, tears, uncertainty, disappointment.
Though now we're still third, but we'll never stop trying right. There's still IVP to fight for, and next year girls, do the Year3s, Jazreel, Brenda and SP proud, i know you girls will be doing even better cause we'll never stop learning at trainings!
Don't brood over the mistakes anymore, but learn from it. You'll only learn when you admit it and change.
GO SP ANGELS, WE'LL NOT BE BEATEN SO EASILY!

hows your weekend girls? hope you girls had a blast and manage to squeeze time for BED!
i'm pretty sure you'll know why i'm here again! :D
to kick off, we had training last Saturday with almost full attendance, applaud!
we all know it was scorching Hot, but we all pull through!
*psst, for juniors, keep up the work in your ball handling and learning the basics!
also, you shud prepare yourselves that your 1st tournament this coming Saturday will
be hot as the last training. We encourage you girls to hydrate yourselves as much as
possible, wearing sunblock wud do good for skins too ;)
Now, let's move on..
This regards to the Polite Team, last Saturday training was really good.
We revised on our moves defence etc. I could see your drive, your passion, teamwork,
exhaustion, supporting, :)
Our final game is this Wednesday. We played and had friendly with Nyp
quite a few times, take this opportunity to show them what we have!
I would like to share these with you girls!
As Clare had mention earlier, lets give our very best shot this time.
There's this quote i'd seen in the mrt, it says from kumon,
'Give it a try. You never know until you try.'
From Coach herself (re-phrase by me),
'You control the game, the game doesn't control you, you got the brains, use it wisely,
you want to win, be driven and talk it out loud, work it out together!'
So girls, believe in yourselves, we can do this together.
