Angels,
Pol-ite team 09/10:
Clare Chew, Syahidah, Nana, Bee Ping, Joan, Yici, Szeyee, Sheralin, Mary-anne, Diann, Amanda, Clarissa, Tiffany and Yiting
to the 13 of you, i'm really very proud of you girls. We fought so hard at games (although sometimes we weren't focus enough), and tried so hard to clinch championship this year. We went through a season full of sweat, injuries, pains, deep heat, tears, uncertainty, disappointment.
Though now we're still third, but we'll never stop trying right. There's still IVP to fight for, and next year girls, do the Year3s, Jazreel, Brenda and SP proud, i know you girls will be doing even better cause we'll never stop learning at trainings!
Don't brood over the mistakes anymore, but learn from it. You'll only learn when you admit it and change.
GO SP ANGELS, WE'LL NOT BE BEATEN SO EASILY!

hows your weekend girls? hope you girls had a blast and manage to squeeze time for BED!
i'm pretty sure you'll know why i'm here again! :D
to kick off, we had training last Saturday with almost full attendance, applaud!
we all know it was scorching Hot, but we all pull through!
*psst, for juniors, keep up the work in your ball handling and learning the basics!
also, you shud prepare yourselves that your 1st tournament this coming Saturday will
be hot as the last training. We encourage you girls to hydrate yourselves as much as
possible, wearing sunblock wud do good for skins too ;)
Now, let's move on..
This regards to the Polite Team, last Saturday training was really good.
We revised on our moves defence etc. I could see your drive, your passion, teamwork,
exhaustion, supporting, :)
Our final game is this Wednesday. We played and had friendly with Nyp
quite a few times, take this opportunity to show them what we have!
I would like to share these with you girls!
As Clare had mention earlier, lets give our very best shot this time.
There's this quote i'd seen in the mrt, it says from kumon,
'Give it a try. You never know until you try.'
From Coach herself (re-phrase by me),
'You control the game, the game doesn't control you, you got the brains, use it wisely,
you want to win, be driven and talk it out loud, work it out together!'
So girls, believe in yourselves, we can do this together.

1stly, i'm very new to livejournal, never tried posting :/
Henceforth, 2nd point, i would like to apologise for not
being a good vice captain to all of you. I havnt
done much to assist all of you! I dont sms, email or worst
motivate you girls. I have to admit this.
3rdly, my goal as a vicecapt is to not only assist Clare but
Our Angels Team too!
For now, our 'main priority' to focus during these POLITE games are:
Focus, Discipline, Talking, Balls & Man
(Talk Balls Man + F + D -shortforms)
but MOST IMPORTANTLY is to 'UP OUR MENTAL & CONFIDENCE'
You got to work as a team to reach our goal! :D
& i knew that all of you see it in yesterdays game with NP.
I would specially like to 'congratulate each and everyone of you for winning
yest game!
For non-polite, i'm very glad & touched to see almost all of u at every game!
It does show team spirit! Last of all, i promise to try my best to be both
a good player and a vicecapt to all! :DD
Heheh its quite a long post, anyway for tmrs game do do drink alot of fluids
and get sufficient rest!! Lets not lay back and be complacent just because
its ITE, lets prove it on the field!

Hiiiii, usually, I would come here to post about funds and try very hard to make the funds post as attractive as possible. But now that there's Tiff, I don't have to do it ever again! Hahahahaha.
Anyway, even though today was such a long day, I still wanna rant out all that's in my mind before I sleep so bear with me. I hope some of you read this before Wednesday? I'm not gonna talk about all the positive "you can do it" stuff 'cos Szy and Chew have said everything already.
Hmm our match against TP just now was pretty horrible, yes? For the past two years, I would usually cry like a baby after every match. Reason being, I feel that I didn't play good enough. Not enough to aid in tries, not enough to score, not enough to win. Today, I still felt like crying (as usual) but it wasn't really for the same reasons anymore.
We usually play like shit for our first game right. In the past, we probably could afford to not play well in the first and get it back in the next. But today's match, was the most important game for this pol-ite (I would say). Sigh. WHY DO WE NEED TO PLAY LIKE SHIT IN THE FIRST GAME JUST TO WAKE OURSELVES UP FOR THE NEXT?!! Why do we always need to waste our first game like that, just so we can wake ourselves up and focus.
I'm sorry if I sound very angry here. I'm not okay, I'm just... upset. Upset that not only did we let ourselves down, we let Clare, Jazreel and Brenda down as well. They are people who have soo much faith in us you know. I believe we're capable of doing soo much more. Really.
I hope all of us (including myself), can learn from today and put everything we've learnt and trained into the next 4 games! Hydrate yourself, sleep sufficiently, wash your jersey, eat energy-giving foodstuff and tape your boots if you need to! I have confidence in everyone of you! Woohoohoo!
To all those who gave their everything today, you guys really motivated me I swear. This includes the year 2s!
And to all those who are rushing for submissions, good luck!! \m/

As Brenda has mentioned, there'll be a Sports and Wellness workshop catered to all of us. She want most of us to attend it so i am here proposing 3 dates. Please get back to me by Tuesday's training which date you all can make it. We will set the date that most of the seniors can make it!

Hey Girls,
Thanks a lot for the help today! You girls did try to step up and lead the big group of freshies. I'm very happy, although sometimes it's still quite difficult to get all of your attention when i'm trying to pass down some instructions! But wells, good enough.
Increase all your urgency okok. The freshies look up to you. So if you move fast and listen, they naturally will too. By then, we'll be a discipline team!

Dear Angels,
I hope you all still check and read our livejournal regularly! Anyway, if you see this post, please pass the word around! Rather important. :D
As you all know, our dear Jazreel Szeyee and Huiling is gonna graduate already! so every year, there will be a farewell party, this year is no exception too! So here i am proposing 2 dates first. 3rd week of May (22nd-24th) or 4th week of May (29th-31st). Please look through you schedules and see when you all can make it on this dates.
Sms me to tell me okay! By next tuesday (21st April) as we need to make necessary arrangements! I need to know when most of the girls can make it. We need to plan something asap! so after i consolidated and set a date, try your very very best to keep the days free okay cause no one would want to miss such an important day in our touch calender! (:
Secondly, the current Year 2 batch (juniors you all upgraded already!) and seniors, please try to come out with some designs for cca drive. i still have no idea when is it (sorry too busy with attachment) but it would probably be here before we all know it! so let's not try to be last minute. we shall plan beforehand! :D you all can organise outings or meet up after class next week to design together okay! thanks very much, i love you all!
i hope i can be back in school soon to meet you girls soon but i end attachment one week later! sighhhhh.
Lastly, COMMITTEE MEETING! committee meeting shall tentatively be on the thursday when school starts(23rd April) after training! Members if you can't make it please tell me so maybe i can change the date or something. i need to inform brenda too so tell me asap! As this is the first meeting, i hope everyone will be there!
